Last year on Halloween, One Ocean and crew rode out Hurricane Melissa - one of the strongest Atlantic hurricanes ever. We were in Bermuda repairing OO after the North Atlantic storm when Melissa hit Jamaica as a category 5 hurricane and then tracked for Bermuda. We were advised by locals to shelter in Stokes Harbor. Here we’d have the least amount of fetch but exposed to the wind.
