Meet Tess Schornack, our social media manager and education outreach intern! Currently an undergraduate at Western Washington University, she is pursuing a degree in Environmental Science with a marine emphasis. Tess is deeply passionate about ocean sciences and the intersectional impacts of climate change. She is also an enthusiastic sailor who competes on the sailing team at WWU! Tess is ecstatic to be a part of the ATA crew, eager to share the journey, crucial science, and the vital message that we have just ONE OCEAN- and it’s our responsibility to protect it. 🌎🌊
