Mark Schrader and Jennifer Dalton sailed the expedition boat on a shakedown cruise through the inside passage of Vancouver Island, to Haida Gwaii, and then returned via the offshore outside of Vancouver Island. The first port was Mill Bay, BC, for a renaming ceremony of the Ketch 48, a Bob Perry design and one-of-a-kind expedition boat. Jane Shapley conducted the ceremony and blessing for ONE OCEAN.
