Meet Mark Schrader!!
In 2009-2010, Mark Schrader completed the route that this expedition will follow and now will do it again. The first Around the Americas trip was a 28,000 mile expedition and the first ever continuous, west to east circumnavigation of the American continents. Mark is also the first American to complete a solo circumnavigation of the globe via the five Southern Capes, and completed the BOC Challenge (a singlehanded, around the world race, known as the Velux 5 Oceans). Mark is intimately aware of our fragile ocean environments, and believes that those who love the ocean have an obligation to be proactive stewards of this precious environment and important resource. Mark will continue promoting awareness of the critical condition of our ONE OCEAN and spreading the message around the world. 🌎🌊
